Over the last few weeks I have been trying out new tools to post to all my social networks at once.
The tool I have settled on and am using is PingFM.

I have mixed thoughts about doing this since sometimes I want to post diffrent things to diffrent groups but for ease of posting when time is thight it seems like a great idea.
It is working well and it appeals to the FREE in me.
I am wondering two things.
- How do you feel about posting the same thing to all your networks?
- Do you have a favorite tool that you are using that you can share with me?
Thanks for taking the time to respond in advance.

Caryn, I also use ping but sparingly. If people think you are just advertising on facebook or twitter, they will object. My understanding of social networking is that I need to be out there connecting with people. Very few people want to talk, or hear, about real estate all the time. So I join in discussions about dogs, weather, music, politics, art, food, or whatever conversation is going on that appeals to me. Same with flickr, picasa, and brightkite. Over time, people will wee that I am a real person and not just another real estate agent who wants to sell them something.

Thanks for your great insight!
You are so right. The key word is sparingly. I never post ad to any social site.
Your right, No one wants to hear about Real Estate all the time r any business all the time. I hardly talk about my digital coaching on my social sites. I really just embrace the party atmosphere of the sites and discuss my passions and my interests. After all it is Social networking....and making meaningful connections is the name of the game. Besides, it is just plain fun!
Hi Caryn,
I use ping.fm sparingly as well. The one thing I syndicate regularly are my blog posts. Status updates, interesting links, things of that nature I don't syndicate to ALL of my networks ALL of the time.
In moderation when it makes sense is o.k. IMO.
I'm with you all as well. I do syndicate all blog posts through ping.fm, as well as certain updates that are appropriate for all my services, but if I'm involved in a conversation on Twitter, it's not necessarily appropriate for Facebook, and vice versa. But when time is tight, ping.fm is great.
